• Rachael A. Raver and Warren H. Fulton III: December 1988, Reston, Virginia. Raver, 22, and her boyfriend Fulton, 22, were both murdered. Raver was also sexually assaulted.
• Manuel F. Sermeno: September 2, 1989, Prince William County, Virginia. Sermeno, 27, was found murdered.
• Stacey Siegrist and Anthony Gianuzzi: May 5, 1990, Rubidoux, California. Siegrist, 19, was sexually assaulted and shot, while her fiancé Gianuzzi, 21, was bound and shot.
• Lula Mae Farley and Herbert Farley: June 2, 1990, Ontario, California. The couple, aged 71 and 65 respectively, were murdered; Lula was killed at the scene, and Herbert was abducted and later found dead.
• Yvette Michelle Woodruff: September 2, 1990, Ontario, California. Woodruff, 15, was kidnapped, raped, and fatally shot.

Detailed Account of Specific Crimes

One of the most brutal incidents occurred on September 2, 1990, in Ontario, California. Prieto, along with accomplices Vincent Lopez and Danny Sorian, robbed Anthony Rangela and subsequently took him hostage. They proceeded to Rangela's residence, where they kidnapped his 33-year-old aunt Emily D., her 17-year-old daughter Lisa H., and Lisa's 15-year-old friend, Yvette Woodruff.
