Background
Born in Hong Kong in 1960, Ng moved to the United States in the late 1970s and had a troubled history, including multiple arrests for theft and firearms violations. His association with Leonard Lake led to a series of brutal crimes that came to light in 1985 after a shoplifting incident resulted in their capture.
Crimes and Victims

- Michael Carroll (1984) - A drifter who was staying at the cabin, killed after becoming a liability.
- Donald Giuletti (1984) - A radio personality murdered in his home, possibly for his equipment.
- Randy Jacobsen (1984) - A known acquaintance of Lake and Ng, believed to have been murdered.
- Clifford Peranteau (1984) - A friend of Ng, suspected to have been killed after outliving his usefulness.
- Paul Cosner (November 2, 1984) - Last seen showing his car to a potential buyer, later identified as Ng.
- Robin Scott Stapley (April 1985) - A 26-year-old from San Diego who went missing and was later identified as one of the victims.
- Jeff Gerald (1985) - A businessman who escaped after being shot by Ng during a robbery attempt.
