The Shooting
At about 10 p.m., French exited his truck and began firing toward the Kroger, then entered the restaurant through the kitchen, shouting “freeze” . Patrons ran for cover or hid under tables as French fired indiscriminately, sometimes shooting victims even after they begged for mercy .
