Between February and March 2011, Madondo committed a series of murders across Ohio and New Mexico. His victims included:- February 17, 2011: Jacquelyn Hilder, 60, a bank executive from Akron, Ohio, was shot twice—once in the abdomen and once in the chest—in her home. Madondo believed Hilder's boyfriend had a large sum of money at the residence.
- February 19, 2011: Zenzele Mdadane, 25, originally from South Africa and a former Maritzburg College student, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the woods of Butler Township, Ohio. Madondo lured Mdadane to the area as part of a plan to assume his identity.
- March 24, 2011: Bobby Gonzales, 57, and his stepson, Gabriel Baca, 37, were both shot and killed in a motel room in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Madondo attempted to clean the crime scene but left behind significant evidence, including pools of blood and drag marks.

He was sentenced to 30 years in prison, with eligibility for parole after serving 24 years.
