Thaddeus Charles Lewingdon: The .22 Caliber Killer

Background

Thaddeus Charles Lewingdon, born on December 22, 1936, in Ohio, was one half of the notorious .22 Caliber Killers duo, alongside his brother Gary Lewingdon. The brothers committed a series of brutal murders in Ohio from December 1977 to December 1978. Thaddeus was married and had three children. He worked as a technical specialist at the Columbus Steel Drum Company.

Crimes

The Lewingdon brothers targeted strangers and carried out their murders with extreme cruelty, using .22 caliber pistols. Their killing spree began on December 10, 1977, and continued until their apprehension in December 1978.
