Robert Tyrone Hayes, born on March 12, 1982, is an American serial killer convicted for the murders of three women in the Daytona Beach, Florida area between December 2005 and February 2006. DNA evidence has also linked him to a fourth murder committed in March 2016. Additionally, he remains the prime suspect in another homicide from December 2007.
Early Life and Background
Hayes was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, the youngest of four children. Raised primarily by his mother after his father's murder shortly after his birth, Hayes faced challenges during his upbringing, including bullying due to his weight and alleged abuse. He attended Bethune-Cookman College (now Bethune-Cookman University) between 2000 and 2006, earning a degree in criminal justice. During his college years, Hayes was active as a cheerleader and was known for his friendly demeanor and active social life.
