Background
Megan Huntsman, born on February 26, 1975, was a resident of Pleasant Grove, Utah. She married Darren West in April 1993, shortly after turning 18. The couple had three daughters together. However, their marriage deteriorated due to substance abuse and domestic issues, with West serving time in federal prison for methamphetamine-related charges from 2006 to 2014. During this period, Huntsman committed a series of heinous crimes that shocked the nation. The Crimes
Between 1996 and 2006, Huntsman secretly gave birth to seven infants at her home. Immediately after birth, she murdered six of these newborns by either strangulation or suffocation. She then concealed their bodies in boxes, storing them in her garage. The seventh infant was stillborn. Huntsman later admitted to these killings, attributing her actions to her addiction to methamphetamine and an unwillingness to care for more children.Discovery of the Bodies
On April 12, 2014, Darren West, recently released from prison, was cleaning the garage of their former shared residence when he discovered a suspicious package emitting a pungent odor. Upon opening it, he found the decomposed remains of an infant wrapped in plastic. He immediately contacted authorities, leading to the discovery of six more infant bodies, all in varying stages of decomposition. ...Read MoreVictims
