Vernon Lee Clark was born on December 28, 1955, in Elkridge, Maryland. He attended local schools, including Elkridge Elementary, Waterloo Middle School, and Howard High.   • Details: Watson was chased into nearby woods, where Clark sexually assaulted and beat her to death. Her body was found on December 30, 1984, under pine trees across the street from her home.
• Kathleen Patricia Gouldin
  • Date: July 4, 1989
  • Age: 23
  • Location: Elkridge, Maryland
  • Details: Gouldin was sexually assaulted and fatally shot in her apartment. Clark was linked to the crime through DNA evidence and a pizza box found near the scene.
