Gwendolyn Gail Graham is an American serial killer who, along with her lover Catherine May Wood, murdered multiple elderly women while working as a nurse's aide at a nursing home in Walker, Michigan, during the late 1980s. The duo used their access to vulnerable patients to carry out their crimes, which they later bragged about to acquaintances.
Crimes and Murders
Graham and Wood were employed at the Alpine Manor Nursing Home, where they targeted elderly and frail patients, many of whom suffered from dementia and other debilitating conditions. Their killings occurred in 1987, and they reportedly chose victims whose initials would spell out words, turning their murders into a twisted game. The victims were smothered to death, typically with washcloths or pillows.
