In the quiet setting of the Alpine Manor nursing home in Walker, Michigan, a series of tragic events unfolded in 1987, forever altering the lives of its residents and their families. Among the victims was Myrtle Luce, a 95-year-old woman who, along with four other elderly female residents, fell prey to the very individuals entrusted with her care.
