Investigation and Conviction
Following the discovery of these murders, a task force was formed to investigate the cases, which bore striking similarities in victim profiles and crime scene details. Glaze became a suspect after a waitress reported his suspicious behavior, and further information from his girlfriend led investigators to locate him in New Mexico. He was arrested on August 31, 1987, for violating parole from a previous rape conviction. Evidence found in his vehicle, including a bloody shirt and a crowbar with hair samples, was used to link him to the murders.
