Details of the Crimes

Richard Paul White's first known victim was Torrey Marie Foster, a 25-year-old mother of two. In January 2002, he picked her up from a bus stop near Colfax Road in Denver, Colorado. Despite his initial claims of not wanting to harm her, he strangled her to death and buried her body in a remote location near his father's home in Mesita, Colorado. After a few months of inactivity, White resumed his killing spree between August and November 2002. He picked up 27-year-old Annaletia Maria Gonzales from Denver's Colfax Avenue and brought her to his home in Park Hill. There, he tied her up in the garage and tortured her mercilessly before strangling her to death with a belt. Shortly after Annaletia's murder, White abducted 32-year-old Victoria Lyn Turpin. He held her captive in the basement of his house, where he raped and tortured her in the most inhumane way possible. Despite his claims of not wanting to kill her, he eventually lost patience and strangled her to death with the same belt he used on Annaletia. White's final known victim was his friend, Jason Reichardt. On September 8, 2003, during a conversation at White's home in Aurora, Colorado, Reichardt was shot in the head. White's sister later turned him over to the police, leading to his arrest and subsequent confessions. ...Read More
