Gage Wade Pierce and the 2026 Livonia Quadruple Homicide

The Fatal Shooting in Livonia, Michigan

Gage Wade Pierce, a 25-year-old resident of Livonia, Michigan, was charged in connection with the fatal shootings of four people inside his family's home on June 9, 2026. The victims were Pierce's mother, father, younger brother, and his brother's girlfriend. Because the criminal case remained pending, Pierce was legally presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. At approximately 5:30 p.m. on June 9, Livonia police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 19300 block of Rensellor Street after receiving a report of a shooting. Inside the home, officers discovered four people suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. All four were pronounced dead. The victims were identified as 53-year-old Holly Kimball, 58-year-old Sterling Pierce, 22-year-old Tanner Pierce, and 21-year-old Nevaeh Finch. Holly Kimball and Sterling Pierce were Gage Pierce's parents. Tanner Pierce was his younger brother, while Nevaeh Finch was Tanner's girlfriend. Finch lived in Warren but reportedly spent considerable time at the Pierce family residence with Tanner. The killings therefore eliminated nearly an entire immediate family and also claimed the life of a young woman who was closely connected to them.

Victims

  • Holly Kimball, 53 Gage Pierce's mother. She was fatally shot on June 9, 2026, inside the family home in the 19300 block of Rensellor Street in Livonia, Michigan.
  • Sterling Pierce, 58 Gage Pierce's father. He was fatally shot on June 9, 2026, at the Rensellor Street residence in Livonia.
  • Tanner Pierce, 22 Gage Pierce's younger brother. He was killed inside the Livonia home on June 9, 2026.
  • Nevaeh Finch, 21 Tanner Pierce's girlfriend and a resident of Warren, Michigan. She was frequently present at the Pierce residence and was fatally shot there on June 9, 2026.

The Crime Scene and Arrest

Prosecutors alleged that Pierce used a semiautomatic rifle to shoot each victim multiple times. The four bodies were found inside the residence, turning what had been a family home into the scene of a domestic mass homicide. Authorities did not publicly describe the precise order in which the victims were shot or identify the rooms in which each person was found. A family dog was also discovered with a gunshot wound to its front right leg. The injured animal survived and was transported to Veterinary Emergency Service West in Plymouth for treatment. The shooting of the dog added another disturbing element to a scene already marked by the deaths of four members of the household and their extended family circle. Pierce was reportedly still at the property when officers arrived. Police arrested him at the scene without further violence. There was no prolonged search for a suspect, barricade, or reported exchange of gunfire with responding officers. Investigators secured the residence and began collecting physical evidence connected to the shootings. ...
