Lionel Carnell Jr., a 17-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2019. He was shot to death on the city's northeast side, specifically in the 9400 block of Stouffer Court, near East 42nd Street and North Post Road. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to reports of a shooting shortly after 9 p.m. and found Lionel with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
