On July 28, 2023, 18-year-old Antwain Turentine Jr. was fatally shot on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred just before midnight when officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) were called to the 3402 N. Emerson Ave location, where a Citgo gas station is situated, in response to reports of a person shot.
