On a summer morning in Indianapolis, Indiana, a 22-year-old man named Deion Matthews was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 11:20 a.m. on August 7, 2020, in the 1000 block of Hosbrook Street on the city's east side. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting and found Matthews with gunshot wounds.
