Deputy Sheriff Jason Matthew Baker, aged 24, tragically lost his life on September 17, 2001, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Deputy Baker was responding to a disturbance call when he noticed a suspicious vehicle with four male occupants. As he attempted to investigate, the vehicle fled, leading to a high-speed pursuit.
