Shawn Nash, a 45-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on April 27, 2015. The incident occurred on the Near Northside of Indianapolis following an illegal dice game. According to reports, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) were dispatched to the area of 30th Street and Capitol Avenue around 6:20 p.m. in response to a shots fired call.
