On a summer evening in Indianapolis, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace and left a community reeling. On June 5, 2021, 47-year-old Darnell Bell was tragically killed in a quadruple shooting on the northeast side of the city. Another man, 50-year-old Rodney Willis, also lost his life in the violent encounter.
