Mark Stokes

In the early hours of October 17, 2018, a resident returning to their home on Indianapolis's east side, near 36th and Rural streets, made a tragic discovery. Inside the residence lay 28-year-old Mark Stokes, a Black male, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 4 a.m.
