Ashton Harting, a 13-year-old boy from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life in the early hours of January 19, 2015. Ashton was walking home with friends around 2 a.m. when he was shot and killed. The incident occurred after the group of teenagers had been knocking over trash cans in a neighborhood, an act described by witnesses as "horseplay".
