On the evening of March 28, 2026, in an apartment complex on the northeast side of Indianapolis, 15-year-old TreVon Riggins was found shot near a playground. The incident was reported to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 3900 block of Rue Rebelais. First responders arrived to find the young man in critical condition. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
