In the early morning hours of June 5, 2021, a burst of gunfire in an Indianapolis parking lot tragically cut short the life of 50-year-old Rodney Juan Willis Sr. The fatal shooting, which also claimed the life of 47-year-old Darnell Bell and left two others wounded, unfolded in the parking area of a Boston Market on the city's northeast side. Willis, a delivery driver, was a beloved family man known for his love of cooking, dancing, and karaoke.
