John "Steve" Weisert, aged 74, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2021, in a mass shooting at the FedEx Ground facility near the Indianapolis International Airport. Weisert, a retired mechanical engineer and Air Force veteran, had been working part-time at FedEx for about four years to supplement his income and pay off some bills.
