On May 6, 2023, a double shooting occurred at the Autumn Trails apartments, specifically in the 7800 block of Red Mill Drive, on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals: 17-year-old Jhavon Fisher and 18-year-old Nicholas Powell.
