In the early hours of May 6, 2023, the life of 17-year-old Jhavon Fisher was tragically cut short in a double homicide at the Autumn Trails apartments on Red Mill Drive in Indianapolis. Responding to a call a little after 2:00 a.m., police discovered a grim scene where both Jhavon and another young man, 18-year-old Nicholas Powell, had been shot. Powell was pronounced dead at the scene, while Fisher was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
