In a tragic turn of events on February 27, 2024, two-year-old Jarel Miles, a Black male, lost his life in his Indianapolis home. The young boy's day took a fatal turn when he discovered a loaded handgun inside his mother's purse. The incident occurred in a residence located in the 3700 block of North Dearborn Street, where Jarel and his mother, Tiara Reeves, had just returned after running errands.
