In the spring of 2014, a violent act on the Northeastside of Indianapolis cut short the life of Rickey Paul Hunt Jr.. On the afternoon of May 18th, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4100 block of North Tacoma Avenue around 2 p.m.. There, they found 29-year-old Rickey Hunt suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
