On November 15, 2014, the Indianapolis community lost 37-year-old Carlos Gaither, a Black male also known affectionately as "C-Los" by those close to him. A resident of the city, Gaither was a father of three children named Adrianna, Pooh-Pooh, and De'Jah. He was remembered by friends and family as a loving, funny, and solid family man who had a deep passion for music.
