Darnell D. Overstreet, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot on October 17, 2009, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident took place in the 700 block of North Sherman Drive on the east side of Indianapolis. Overstreet was reportedly walking down an alley when he was shot in the head. Authorities believe this was not a random act, as Darnell had been involved in an argument shortly before the shooting.
