Jyir Lynn Oehene Billups, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Friday, April 7, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred at a gas station located at the intersection of 34th Street and Emerson Avenue on the city's east side. Billups was reportedly walking outside the gas station when he was struck in the back by gunfire. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
