On June 27, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred on the south side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Treyvon William Flaville. The incident took place in the 2200 block of South Meridian Street, a neighborhood just east of White River. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a report of a person shot at around 7 a.m..
