In the summer of 2017, the life of 35-year-old Reggie Taylor, a male resident of Indianapolis, was cut short in a burst of gunfire on the city's west side. On the evening of July 12th, an argument escalated to a fatal confrontation on Medford Avenue. Both Taylor and a woman involved in the dispute drew weapons and fired. When the shooting ceased, Taylor lay mortally wounded in the street, while the woman was found injured in a nearby yard.
