Deshawn Patterson, a 21-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 20, 2016. The incident occurred outside a Family Dollar store on the city's east side. According to reports, a confrontation involving at least four individuals escalated into a violent altercation in the parking lot, during which Deshawn was fatally shot.
