Artemas Boyd II, a 21-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, lost his life to gun violence on May 11, 2023. The incident occurred in a business area on the south side of Indianapolis. According to reports, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called to the scene at 11:15 p.m. in response to a report of a person shot in the 4000 block of South East Street, an area south of East Hanna Avenue and north of the I-465 interchange.
