In the early morning hours of Friday, July 29, 2022, a violent incident unfolded in Indianapolis, Indiana, claiming the life of 20-year-old Gregory Johnson. A Black male resident of the area, Johnson was discovered by law enforcement officers who had responded to a report of a person shot near the 3800 block of North High School Road, a location that houses a gas station on the city's northwest side.
