Hector Reyes, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically murdered on May 12, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois. Reyes, along with 22-year-old Jimmy Cruz, was lured to Humboldt Park by Jacqueline Montanez, a 15-year-old female gang member. Montanez, who was affiliated with the Maniac Latin Disciples, orchestrated the killings as part of a gang retaliation.
