Deandre Ames, a 26-year-old man, was fatally shot on March 25, 2025, in the West Pullman neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Ames was inside a car around 3 p.m. in the 12100 block of South Eggleston Avenue when another vehicle approached, and an occupant opened fire. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.
