Torrey Lamar Pargo, 38, a Black/African American man from Indianapolis, was shot on the late afternoon of Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the 6100 block of Dickson Road on the city’s northeast side, near North Arlington Avenue and East 46th Street. Officers were dispatched around 5:15 p.m. and found him with gunshot wounds inside a nearby home; he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and later died, and his death was ruled a homicide by the Marion County Coroner’s Office.
