On October 28, 2022, 24-year-old Randall Shields was fatally shot during a violent domestic dispute at a residence on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred in the afternoon near the intersection of 36th Street and Olney Street. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene following reports of a shooting, where they discovered Shields suffering from gunshot wounds.
