In the winter of 2016, the life of Devin Lamont White, a 22-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the evening of December 6th, he was discovered unresponsive in the middle of the street in the 2900 block of North Warman Avenue. White was suffering from at least one gunshot wound, and despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
