In the winter of 2020, the life of 24-year-old Shaugnje Scott was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the morning of January 9th, a 911 call led officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department to her apartment on the city's west side. There, they discovered Scott unresponsive in her bed; she had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
