In the spring of 2016, a string of violent and seemingly random attacks shattered the peace of Indianapolis, leaving a trail of grief and fear. One of the first victims in this senseless spree was Billy Ray Boyd, a 54-year-old man who was found shot to death on May 12th. His death marked the beginning of a four-day period of terror orchestrated by a young man who drew inspiration from a dystopian horror film.
