In the early afternoon of December 1, 2019, the life of 22-year-old Ibn Ali Waller was tragically cut short on the west side of Indianapolis. A Black male, Waller was found by Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers in the 1200 block of North Whitcomb Avenue, near the intersection of 10th Street and North Lynhurst Drive, at approximately 12:45 p.m. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
