On June 17, 2020, Indianapolis police were called to a chaotic scene on the city's northeast side that would eventually be classified as a double homicide. Around 1:30 a.m., officers arrived at the 4600 block of North Bolton Avenue, near 46th Street and Arlington Avenue, responding to reports of a vehicle crash and potential gunfire. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a car that had veered off the road and crashed through a line of trees.
