On a November evening in 2021, the life of 17-year-old Jack 'Little Jack' Franklin Sumner was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. A white male just a month shy of his eighteenth birthday, Sumner was with his half-brother at a Speedway gas station on South Keystone Avenue. The events that unfolded that night were rooted in a dispute over a girl, a conflict that would have fatal consequences. While his brother was inside the convenience store, gunshots rang out in the parking lot.
