In the early morning hours of January 18, 2024, Alfred Wombles, a 44-year-old man, was shot and killed in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Kenwood Avenue. Responding officers found Wombles with a gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
