On February 16, 2019, 32-year-old Mustafa Ayoubi was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana, following a road rage incident. The confrontation began on Interstate 465 when Dustin Passarelli, 33, believed Ayoubi had thrown something at his vehicle or collided with it. Passarelli pursued Ayoubi off the highway to an apartment complex on Wind Drift Drive East, where the situation escalated.
