In Indianapolis, on a Monday evening in November 2020, a 32-year-old Black male named Stephan Cannon was found inside a car, having sustained a gunshot wound. The discovery was made by Metro police officers shortly after 5 p.m. in the 800 block of N. Denny Street on the city's east side.
