Ameir Ford, a 16-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2020, in a drive-by shooting at the Washington Pointe Apartments on the city's east side. The incident occurred while Ameir was outside his mother's apartment, and his sister, who was inside at the time, heard the gunshots and found Ameir lying on the walkway.
