In the early evening of May 29, 2019, an act of violence cut short the life of 18-year-old Domanic Jones, a male from Indianapolis. While behind the wheel of his car in the Indianapolis suburb of Lawrence, Jones was struck by gunfire. The impact of the gunshot caused him to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a traffic signal pole at the intersection of 56th Street and Boy Scout Road.
